Today while in Silverburn we decided to go to the new cinema CINEWORLD. to see Mission Impossible. We approached the only cashier open with about 6 or 7 people in front of me , another check in opens asking for the next person to approach them, this happened reducing my que and putting me in a position where I was committed to the que I was in due to the fact that there was a large ice cream freezer between me and any other cashier opening up. 5 Minutes waiting anther cashier did open up when I approached her I was told on no circumstances could I change lines , at this I asked for a Manager who was as much concerned as a chocolate fire guard. Moving to the check in on my right I proceeded to purchase two tickets ,to be charged full price, “I SUPPOSE A BACKHANDED COMPLIMENT” At this point Kay told me the price advertised was £6.10 / £7.10 after 17.00hrs. On getting another manager she could not do anything about, as that was not at the weekend, BUT IT DID NOT SAY THAT. First and last experience of CINEWORLD . Especially at Silverbun. PS THESE CHECK INS SELL EVERTHING SO EXPECT A LONG WAIT. A SUGGESTION FOR THE NO BRAINERS AT CINEWORLD SILVERBURN THEY SHOULD TAKE AN EXAMPLE FROM THE BANKS AND OTHER CINEMAS ,ONE LIME FEEDING ALL CASHIERS. SIMPLES, BUT NOT FOR ME EVER AGAIN.

You keep asking “how is our new web site” well its rubbish. trying to view seats only when the booking is half way through, not been able to go back to the beginning to amend. Eventually booked Mockingjay for Telford for Tomorrow, window wouldn’t open kept on repeatedly hitting cancel as suggested. Ended up just hitting ok, said transaction complete yet still to receive confirmation.
It is truly shocking to book try yourselves and don’t even suggest the phone I don’t have the time to describe how shit that service is.

Thank you for email regarding my application to work with you at Cineworld Dalton Park, however I disagree with your comment that I don’t have the skills or experience to at least warrant an interview to demonstrate my abilities, I have had many years working in customer service and understand that you interviewing much younger candidates than myself and on this basis alone I feel very angry that my age is being discriminated against ! As I understand your customer’s are all different ages but you employ younger staff and judging by the complaints you receive not all are experienced to give great customer service.

Does anyone ever answer your “customer service” phones, or answer an email? Perhaps you could aid the UK economy and actually employ someone to provide a “customer service”.

Urgent – Fraud by Cineworld Staff in Ilford.

I am aware that staff in this cinema offer to seat people by taking cash in their pocket without customers needing to buy tickets. I suspect it has been going on for a long time and more than 1 person is involved. They must be defrauding you of hundreds of pounds.

I am trying to find a phone number to contact the head of this Cinema Group . I need to speak to him/her about the possible screening of a Video in our local Cinema, here in Hinckley, Leicestershire. I would appreciate an answer to my question ASAP. Thank you.
