Hello there .i have been purchasing Clarkes shoes since 1966 for myself and family .and they have always kept me comfortable and fashionable …however I bought a pair of shoes some years ago now and did not wear them till recently .I wore them thrice and they fell apart literally. I am a senior citizen now and on a limited budget and simply can not afford to waste good money .could I please have another pair of shoes in exchange for these ones.I can send pictures of the shoes in question …I do not have a receipt and I can not even remember where I bought them ..but they are Clark’s shoes no doubt about that ..and you can see by the shoe they have not been worn many times …3 in all..kind regards Marian Robertson Lawrie

Dear Clark’s. I visited your branch in Regent Street many weeks ago on 6th September 2016 and your assistant a African Muslim girl was very rude to me and friends was unhelpful when being served by her. When I asked for my size, she reluctantly got some shoes for me and didn’t bother to measure my feet to get the right measurement. I can see why there were no customers in the shop now, if that’s how you treat all your visitors coming from the Arab Emirates.
I will never Clark’s again because it’s a big shame as she was insulting me and my fellow shopper to her manager when we was there and I had heard her saying that we were rude to her. How can that be possible when we would have bought four pairs of different items from her. I don’t know how Clark’s employed her as she doesn’t even listen to basic english and she didn’t even want to speak in Arabic to us either. I think she was on her menstrual period as she was fighting arguing and swearing to her indian manager about him and about us at that time and other people was coming in and out. The african Muslim sales girl was terrorizing the indian manager this is something we see common in Arabia but never have me and my friends ever witnessed this in London.
Another of your sales staff going up and down all the time and another sales staff coming in and out of the shop every few minutes and then gone for smoking what kind of a Clark’s is this if you are not satisfying your potential visitors huh? I use to shop more than 10 years ago from a shop managed by Simon Jones is he still there if so I like to say him and staff that time they took care of me which was very nice to compared to how me and my friend was awfully degraded like trash being thrown in the streets.
      Please reply to me, thanks

Hi I sent an email to clarks regarding my boys new shoes and had no reply after a week, to begin with the lights would not work and now the lights have been going off on them all day and I can not get them to stop. Considering the price of the shoes I do not think this is acceptable, or the fact I have had no reply.

As a former employee of clarks I’d like to inform all of you that clarks has nothing to do with this website so you need not expect a reply from them on here.

I would suggest to you all go to the store in which your shoes were bought and allow the staff to take it from there

My children and now my grandchildren have always worn Clarks shoes for school. I am disappointed in the pair my eldest grandson has just had to have replaced, they were bought to go back to school in, in September and two weeks ago a section of the sole of the shoe came away. This is not the usual standard that we have been used to. I realise that children wear them pretty hard but they have only been worn for eight weeks and I can never remember the shoes wearing out, but usually grown out of. Have you had other comments about shoes not wearing as well?

Do make shoes 10 1/2 wide size Ds the stores in Joplin,Springfield,Branson,MO say you don,t ,your online listing show no 10 1/2 wide Ds. 10 – 10 1/2 medium are not every person there are lots of us make the shoe and you will make money but don,t price your self out of the market. You like your shoe to fit ,so do people buying your shoes. Don,t be expensive or make reasons to up the price because you want a lot of money. The sales will prove me right and I will want a free new pair every 2 years if that’s OK

    Sincerely

I wrote a letter to Head office in mid December 2015 regarding a complaint I had against the store in Chatham Kent where a security tag was left on a handbag I had purchased. As I live in Maidstone 10 miles away I visited our local Clarks store, complete with my receipt, the next day to ask them to remove the tag but the staff were very unhelpful & said they were unable to do it !! I am still waiting,at least, for a confirmation that my complaint is
being looked into but so far -nothing.What a bad way to run a company,It
will be a long time before I shop in any Clarks shops again.

I have bought Clarks shoes for the past 50 years, and for most of the time I have been satisfied with your products , but since the introduction of the nature 3 I have been very disappointed with the wear on the soles, the round so called air pump design wears out very very quickly, the rest of the shoe is in perfect condition while the sole is rendered useless, and Im unable to use them in damp conditions, once over a pair of the nature shoe would last up to 2 years, now Im lucky is they last 9 months .
As far as I can see the nature 3 sole is a design fault that needs urgent attention.

Dear Clarks, The last time I bought mule clogs #83639 size 6 M was in 2007-2008. They fit well and had plenty of room for my wide toe box my little toes were happy. I just bought 2 pair of Hayla Marina mule clogs they were the only ones that looked like what I had. I read the comments which all stated they were being made more narrow now so I ordered a wide. I walked a few hours and when I took them off my little toes were bright red and hurt. I measured and the new shoes are 1/4 inch smaller in width at the toes. Why can’t companies just leave well enough alone they only have two mule clogs now on there site and they are both narrow at the toes, what about us the people with a wide toe box, why don’t you care about our needs. I am 73 and in my years they either discontinue items I buy or make them different and the result is the same I can’t buy it, it doesn’t exist.

Why have your shops never got any size 8 ladies shoes for me to try on?
Why do I have to order shoes to be able to try them, before deciding I want to purchase them.
Ladies feet are getting bigger, an average size is now a 6.
I have had a unsuccessful shopping day, trying to find size 8 in your shops, and even on your web page.

I visited the Clarks Shoe Shop in Folkestone (20, Sandgate Road CT20), I was the only customer in the shop, I was wanting to buy wide fitting shoes, I found Assistant 9 Amy, very unhelpful and rude, the only time I had help from her was when I asked for my size, she reluctantly got them for me, then took herself off behind the counter, I paid for the shoes, then left. I can see why there were no customers in the shop now, if that’s how you are treated.
I will never visit that branch again, which is a shame, because I have just moved to Folkestone.

On the 25th May I spent £35 on a pair of school shoes and £60 on a pair of ladies sandals in your Chippenham branch. I took the school shoes back today to exchange only to find my sandals had been reduced by £12! I really think this is bad practice I think the sales assistant should have told me the sandals were being reduced the very next day!! £12 pounds is a big reduction and just for customer loyalty this should have been mentioned. It has now made me think I will not shop in your store again or recommend it. Very bad customer relations. I would like a reply to this e-mail.
    Regards

My wife purchased a pair of Clarkes shoes for my birthday last August (2016) at a cost of £75, last week the lower sole split from the upper sole along the length of the shoe. I took them back to the outlet shop in Freeport Braintree, where the under manager was polite and understanding, but as I had no reciept all she could do was offer a £10 voucher to spend in store, when I wanted the shoes replaced with ones “Fit For Purpose”. As these were not cheap and named “Activa Air” you would have expected them to be used on activities and the air cushioned sole be resilient to usage. I did not accept the £10 voucher, but as I said she was helpfull giving me the store code, phone number of customer services and the fault which really needs explaining to you all buying shoes from Clarkes.
I was told by two members of staff in the aforementioned store that this is a common fault with footware, they asked me if I kept my shoes under the stairs or in a box, I said in a wardrobe! They told me that was the problem as the light does not get onto the shoe it deteriates and what happens to the shoes are they fall apart “as they would in a landfill” I was quoted, The name given by Clarkes for ths amazing phenominum is “Hydrollisis” She wrote it down for me.
I have been trying to contact Customer services for three days so far and all you get is “Sorry please call again later as we are experiancing problems beyond our control”
So all you people please be aware that if you buy shoes from Clarkes by the time you get them home they may be deteriating already, as the shoes I have that are Useless have been worn around a dozen times. Not a bad return for Clarkes either Buy a pair for £75 find they are faulty take them back to be offered a £10 but still have to spend it with them, so they win every timein the never ending circle of “Hydrollasis”
