With regards to the free mini beauty treatments which are being offered in several New Look stores as a promotion if you spend £25 or more .

This promotion unfortunately cannot be fulfilled by the third party. I have just called the salon today to book an appointment and was told that they are inundated with bookings and can only offer 50% off a treatment. The voucher is valid until 19th june 2015, and entitles you to a free mini treatment . Unfortunately the salon cannot cope with the demand and have therefore refused the treatment.

I felt very disappointed and let down with this. I hope future promotions are genuine as I buy most of my clothes from New Look.

    With regards

Why are there 3 changing rooms closed to the customers in the Beverley Store, East Yorkshire. I pulled open the curtains and found them full of rubbish. Customers had to queue a long time to try on items. Not a good sight!

FTA :- New Look customer Services
I would just like to sing the praises for staff in your Tunbridge Wells Calverley Road store. They are always upbeat, friendly and extremely helpful. Recently I felt disappointed as a top I liked was not available in my size and only one left in store. The assistant suggested she look online where she found the top which had sold out in all local stores and ordered it for me there and then. Very refreshing to experience great service when this is not the case with so many other companies. Please pass this on to their manager.

absolutely DISGUSTED with the way New Look operate their business. I ordered a pair of sandals on-line, not in the sale. I also had to pay an extra £3.99 for delivery.
BLACK METAL TRIANGLE CUT OUT SANDALS SIZE 6.
    PRODUCT CODE: 3385448.
They’ve just arrived, and one of the sandals is covered in scratches! They would not have been put on the shelf in-store in that shoddy condition.
It appears that New Look think it is acceptable to off-load ‘seconds’ to online customers!

I visited your Fareham branch today around 11-11.30 to buy a whole new winter wardrobe to find on the rails a pair of MOULDY jeans which I pointed out to my partner. As we were discussing the appealing state of the jeans and how they could possibly be sold a member of staff named Louise promptly walked over and turned the jeans around and placed more jeans in front to cover them up (not removing them from the shelf) me and my partner watched as this was done and made comments about how disgusting that they would just cover this up. The jeans were very clearly marked with mould. As we were discussing how terrible it was your member of staff Louise started shouting ‘what are you saying’ ‘have you got a problem’ the store was fairly busy and this was very embarrassing that a member of your team would be so rude and aggressive towards a PAYING customer. When I approached the sales desk to ask for a name and the managers name Louise very quickly approached the sales desk and was again very rude and aggressive claiming to be the manager which it turned out she was not. I simply asked a sales assistant for a name as I felt very uneasy by the way she spoke to me even getting to the point of shouting at me in front of customers. I promptly left the shop without buying a single item as I felt very intimidated by the amount of staff who I felt ganging up on me and not being nice at all. The fact you have many members of staff who treat your customers so appallingly is the reason I will not visit your shop again. I have been a customer since you first opened and feel so disappointed you would employ people who have no customer service skills and no quality control. Please check your security cameras around 11-11.30 in your Fareham branch and you will see your member of staff Louise covering up mouldy clothing and I expect if you check a little bit after someone will have removed the jeans. I was informed she was a manager so maybe you should invest in some training in customer service and quality control as she has let your store down in the worst possible way. I doubt I will get any reply from anyone but I will certainly avoid ANY new look store and will persuade anyone else not to use your store again. I still feel very upset and uneasy by the way she approached me in such a vile manor and how rude Louise was in front of my two young children who are also still upset by her actions.

    To whom it may concern,
On Friday 15th January 2016 myself, and my friend Claire Muskaj along with our children Preston aged 5 months & Freddi aged 3 months became trapped in the lift at your Nottingham Lister Gate store. We were trapped in the lift for around 20 minutes. We sounded the lift alarm to alert someone, we had to do this 3 times before a member of the public who was waiting for the lift went and fetched a member of staff. Whilst in the lift we could hear the staff discussing going to get a key to get us out. After about 5 minutes a staff member returned with a key but it wasn’t the correct one, therefore we remained stuck in the lift. By this time my friend Claire was becoming quite concerned & agitated as she isn’t good in confined spaces. After another 5 minutes the staff member looking for the key returned and stated that the key could not be found. By this time we were both getting hot and frustrated by the situation. The whole time we were stuck in the lift it seemed to be moving upwards and then dropping quickly for a few seconds. We continued to wait but nothing seemed to be happening. We carried on sounding the alarm as nobody was communicating with us. My child Preston was due for a feed & so he was becoming distressed so I decided to see if I could undo the lift myself. I gripped one side of the lift and told Claire to grab the other side and we managed to slide the door open to find that we weren’t infact level with the shop floor, we were between 2 and 3 feet lower than the floor. My friend Claire clambered out of the lift quickly as she was nearest to the door and was desperate to get out, I myself questioned the staff member who was waiting if it was infact safe to get out with a baby in a pushchair as I realised that the movement of the lift whilst we were in it had been it dropping from the shop floor. It very much concerned me to pass my child over the gap incase the lift moved again but I felt I had no choice as the staff had no answers for me.I do not feel that it should have been left to us to get ourselves out of the lift, if the staff were not capable a loft technician from the company should have been called, this did not happen. The staff did apologise and took our details and said that someone from New Look customer services would be intouch, this has not yet happened and we are a month on from the incident, hence this email.
I am very disappointed in the lack of response from New Look and the laid back attitude to which we were treated in an incident that could have been incredibly dangerous.
I would appreciate a rapid response from yourselves.
    Kind regards,
    Miss Lynsey Connolly.

Newlook Wolverhampton – unfortunately as per usual disgusted with the lack of customer service.
Visited Friday 22.04.16 at around 12.30 the girl on the changing rooms was too busy chatting to her colleague to acknowledge me, I then told her how many items I had, she ignored me and counted them herself and just handed me a number without saying a word.
When I came out she just looked at me and put her hand out, I said no good and she just took what I had and walked off.
    Very rude and unfriendly.
The changing rooms were also unclean.
And the queue was ridiculously long.

While shopping at your Glenrothes store yesterday 23rd May 16 with my granddaughter aged 2 she sustained an injury to her left temple when she turned and the display peg for clothes on the low level was just the right height to catch her wee head , I have taken a picture of the injury as today you can see her skin was actually punctured. I did mention the incident to a member of staff who did not enquire further only told me it happens all the time .perhaps rubber covers on the lower display would prevent another toddler suffering the same fate.

Hello, I would like to say how disappointed I was with your store at monks cross York, I went to purchase a gift card for £50 and was told they only had “CHRISTMAS GIFT CARDS” was that ok? Of course it’s not ok it was a gift for a school teacher not a Christmas present so as you can imagine I didn’t purchase the “CHRISTMAS GIFT CARD”
I found this very poor that they only had these do you not stock everyday gift cards or are they just for Christmas and to actually still have them out on display in July is appalling
I look forward to your comments

I went to shop in your New look Portsmouth branch which I had a refund voucher to spend of £12. The reason being unfortunately my Father passed away last year and my Mum has Alzheimer’s & Dementia. By sorting things out for both parents I fund this refund voucher for £12 which was over a year old. I asked your New look branch in Portsmouth can I use this refund. The reply was no its only for one year. They phoned your head office which I ask them to do so and was very tearful in asking. The aswer was no as they can only do this for a year. I said its not your fault, your assistant said its no good so she asked me and tore the receipt up as its no good in having it back. I wanted a bag a metal clutch bag for my Sister Wedding which I brought at your Fareham branch on 18/08/2016 for £15.99. I have so much pressure going on at the moment and adding that my Mum is now in a home. I would have used the refund if me or my Sister and brother had found this sooner.

I am very disappointed in New look that you couldn’t favour this refund.

Dear new look, your ‘plus size/curve’ collection is shocking. Everything is unflattering floral prints that my grandmother would wear, your sizes have gotten smaller/tighter since you introduced the ‘curve’ part into it. I am a size 18 everywhere and was shocked to find that some of your ‘curve’ items I purchased were a 24!!!!!! Ridiculous! I have been a customer for as long as you have been a store, I feel that you cater for ‘average’ size more. Why can’t us plus size women have the same clothing options as the rest of your store? There is basically nothing in stores now to buy if you’re plus size. I am appealing on behalf of plus size women all over to have the same fashion choices in your store that you have for everyone else, just because we wear a bigger size doesn’t mean we like to dress like frumpy curtains!

Well what can i say about New Look other than disgustingly appaling.. So today my very close friend a devout Moroccan Muslim who has never drank alcohol taken drugs nor even smoked a cigarette and is highly respected in the local muslim community came to a group interview session at your New Look warehouse on Lymedale Business Park today and the following happened.

He passed his face to face interview stage and also the written exam but unfortunately failed a drugs test now under normal circumstances this could be normal but to my friend being a devout muslim to be told by someone he failed a drugs test for a job is humiliating he was then ushered out of the building with another muslim man who just so happened to fail his drugs test also although im not insinuating anything here but out of a group of 10 people others being a mix of Russians, Polish and 2 English people got given positions with the majority having high readings of alcohol on there tests.

Now when my friend was asked why he had a positive reading for drugs in his system he was honest he stated he takes multi vitamins well who dosent coming up to winter also he has had a bad chest recently and has being taking cough medicine but at no point in his life has be ever taken drugs now i am no scientist but is it not common knowledge that things like cough medicines can contain traces of ephidrine which can show up as a posotive reading on a test, After this my friend was ushered out of New Look premises and almost treated like a criminal and told to try again in 6 months and re-apply.

My friend obviously challenged this with the assesors to which they replied you failed can you follow my collegue who will escort you out the building your oractices are disgusting and 2 hard working Muslim men with whom your staff pretty much treated like criminals are going to be an asset to someone elses business because of your short sightedness i will never step foot in any of your stores again neither will my family but in the end what we have learned from your policies from today is its ok to have high levels of alcohol in your system and attend an interview but dont get a bad chest or take cough medicine.

However the reciept wasn’t coming out. The cashier had told me to wait a few minutes as the till has crashed.
She then called the floor manager over who rang the office and told me that the transaction has not gone through if the reciept hasn’t come out. At this point I didn’t re purchase the item as I was in a rush and already been waiting around few minutes although I was sure that I had been charged because I entered my pin and the machine read ‘remove card’. I walked away believing I wasn’t charged.
However, later on that day I checked my online banking app and noticed the money had been deducted from my account.
The next day I rang the store a few times to explain the situation but couldn’t get through as no one would answer.
I then went into store after work, and the floor manager at the time told me again the transaction hasn’t gone through although I told him it was shown on my app. He then told me to show him a screen shot of the transaction from my phone which I did. After he had seen the screenshot he went to get my item from the shop floor however he came back to tell me it was out of stock. I was sure it was still in stock so I went to check my self. After returning with the item the manager at this point told me he had contacted the office and they said the money had left my account but has been put on hold. At this point I was very frustrated because I still didn’t understand why money has been deducted from my account and I wasn’t able to take the item. I’m not happy at all with how I’ve had to come out my way to go into town again to be told the money is ‘put on hold’.
It was something out my control which is a fault from the tills, which resulted in me waiting around, not being able to take the item, being told I wasn’t charged although I was, not being able to get through on the phone which led me to spend more money coming back into town after work the following day to still not understand why I have been charged. I’m not happy with the situation, it’s frustrating and has made me angry at the service provided. I would appreciate it if somebody can contact me to discuss this matter further please. Thank you
