    Last Tuesday I visited the Trowbridge Odeon to view The Second Best Exotic Hotel etc. as it was BARGAIN TUESDAY. However, on purchasing my ticket, I discovered that instead of expecting to pay £5.00 [the usual and currently advertised price] I had been charged £6.00! Quereing this with one of “The Team” [who, by the way are ALWAYS most polite and helpful at Trowbridge] it was explained to me that “…when POPULAR films first come out, the charge can be £6.00 rather than the £5.00, as advertised!…”

    Surely, BARGAIN TUESDAY is BARGAIN TUESDAY, and the advertised price of £5.00 should prevail! Isn’t this what the TRADE DESCRIPTION ACT refers to? Your rolling electronic advertising “pictures” were blatantly stating the £5.00 option

    What was even more annoying was, that once in the auditorium, it never reached half full capacity so it wasn’t even, that popular a film, despite it being only released that week.

    Is there a genuinely reasonable reply to this logic, please?

    Dear Sir/Madam

    I do not normally make complaint however on this occasion it is with regret that I deem it to be necessary for two points. Last Wednesday 18th November my wife and I, both senior citizens, travelled to the Odeon Cinema, Kinnaird Park near Edinburgh where we had intended to see the film Brooklyn at the 1100hrs showing. At the counter We were informed that this would not be possible as that showing was only for people with babies or young children and as we had none we could not not be admitted. This was not mentioned on the web site and having driven over 20 miles we were not amused. More so the person dealing with us stated that although we were happy to view the film despite there being young children we were again informed this would not be allowed “unless we found a child”. Is that not an offensive statement. Secondly we also had a voucher from yourselves that allowed two tickets for £10. We couldn’t use this as that was the last day of its validity. Having stated this we were informed that there was another showing at six that evening. I would hardly think it feasible to suggest that travelling around 80 miles was the way forward and we surely could not be expected to hang around for eight hours.

    We appreciate that the cinema is relatively new however I do think that the restrictions on showings should be more prominent within the website thus preventing unnecessary travel and upset.

    I trust that you will react to this in the very least by amending the website and highlighting the various restrictions.

    Please read the following contact with your limitless team and get in touch with me so I can formalise and escalate the issues it raises into a formal complaint:

    “Really? Is that the best you can come up with? Am I expected to be incredibly grateful for being patronised, insulted and fed such dismissive, cynical and low-grade-PR lines to take in 2016?

    I now want this escalated to a formal complaint about the conduct and behaviour of Daniel from the Limitless Team.

    I also want the points raised in my original email to be seen by somebody with authority, and responded to comprehensively and respectfully. If it is not beyond the wit & wisdom of service providers across numerous industries to massively outperform you on customer service, convenience and customer experience then your culture & business model needs serious work.

    I am fed up of having to re-enter my card details every time I book a ticket. Grateful if you could either add PayPal as a payment option on your website, or allow limitless account holders to store payment cards, or both.

    Would it also be possible to extend the time at which you can book online up to the actual movie start time after ads & trailers? Got to the cinema the other day and had to queue for 20 mins at the box office when purchasing through the app & printing at the machine would have taken much less time & meant that I didn’t miss the start of the movie.

    I have left my phone lg in cinemas hall on 21th sept watching film pink show at 5.30 pm.when show finished there clear the hall and it is phone handed to you.i find odean responsible to hand phone to me.we spoke on phone odean helpline but they have not even reponded back

    I was over charged by £9.65 on the 17/03/2017 at 9.01pm I didn’t realise until I arrived home! As I felt that I had payed too much . The staff were rude and seen sniggering in the back grounds visit the cinema at least 3-4 times a month and I was very upset st the treatment from the food serving area! This has put me in mind to use another establishment . instead of odeon! I feel your staff require more customer service skills.

    Today myself and 6 friends went to view the new Dunkirk film at the odeon Kingston upon Thames at 7pm. Whilst we were watching the film it became very noticeable how cold it was in screen 13! I had a cardigan and my jacket on and I was still very good. I noticed that most of the group I was with also kept saying how cold it was and we also heard other people complaining. This made it quite hard to concentrate on the film, my nose was so cold! We can only think the air con was too strong. I Also took my children to see the despicable me film at the same cinema last week and again it was so cold. I think someone needs to look into the air con and how high it’s set as it’s making the experience at the cinema a very unpleasant one and considering the cost of the seats now, its quite an expensive unpleasant experience!
