My family and I live in the US, and will be visiting Scotland, July 2018. We were considering a stay at the Glasgow Premier Inn City Centre. I telephoned the hotel 28 July (2016) to ask what rooms they would recommend for our party of 9. I waited several minutes in a queue, then the hotel terminated the call before I could speak with anyone. On 29 July, I emailed my inquiry to Premier Inn Guest Relations, but still have not received any response. Hopefully, this contact method will prove more successful, and someone will respond to my inquiry, or provide me with alternate contact information. The Glasgow Premier Inn City Centre is still our family’s preference, but if we again experience a lack of response from Guest Relations, we will definitely look elsewhere for a hotel.

Booked two rooms at your Euston Road Premier Inn in London and had the worst night sleep of my night absolutely appalling and quite expensive.

Ringing from Cyprus to Premier Inn, Newcastle (Holystone) to enquire about the website notification that the hotel is undergoing ‘building modifications’ and car parking is ‘limited’. After lengthy telephone ‘automated information’ the call was terminated, as staff were busy. Not a problem if there are readily available email contact details, but that is not the case ( see comments from other customers). Premier Inn need to make email contact details more easily available for there customers. Overseas telephone calls are expensive, especially when terminated without ever making contact with a member of staff.
Can you tell me if around the 27th Dec 2016, the inside of the hotel will be a building site? Is the restaurant still functioning? If car parking spaces are not available – where do customers park?

    Dear Sir/Madam
I feel compelled to write and express my great disappointment and upset over my New Year stay at the Burnbrae Hotel, Bearsden, Glasgow.
Both my husband and I, booked a two night stay to celebrate New Year. We have stayed many a time at this hotel with no problem whatsoever. However on this occasion we were left on New Year’s Eve with no where to have tea and breakfast on New Year’s Day. In the past we have been informed of changes to opening times at the Eating Inn establishment over the festive period and been encouraged to make bookings. However on this occasion, no mention was made about the eating establishment being closed for a private function. There was no notice to inform guests at reception. When I spoke with the receptionist when we checked out, she said she was completely unaware of the changes over the new year period. If we had known about the said changes then we could have made alternative arrangements.
I have recently undergone major surgery which requires me to monitor carefully what I eat. Due to the lack of immediate nutritious food available, I was left feeling quite miserable to say the least.
I feel there has been a complete breakdown in communication between the Eating Inn and the Premier Inn . If indeed the staff at the Premeir Inn knew of the circumstances, this should have been made clear to all guests. If I had known about this prior to travelling from Aberdeen, we would most certainly have been able to make other plans and enjoy New Year as was our intention.
A serious breakdown in communication made our New Year one to forget.

    Yours faithfully,
    Valerie Cooper
