    I wish to make a formal complaint on behalf of my daughter Kayleigh Anderson who is currently working in your Cambridge shop she was transferred up to your Glasgow shop for month of December, and is still waiting on being paid for those shifts. To explain she is a student in Cambridge and so requires the money!!! This is a ridiculous situation to be in and it’s not for the want of tryin on Kayleigh’s behalf she has been passed from pillar to post … She is now leaving your store for another job which can I say has walked into because she is an excellent sales adviser , so you have not only messed her about financially,emotionally you have also lost one of your best staff , she has been with you for 3 years but no more !!!
    I will certainly not recommend anyone having a job with this company if they treat their staff with this utter contempt .

    Working in Leicster not to mention which store , certain managers are bully’s and yet they want standards if you work there you can not have freinds in the same place , yet in my opinon if you get on as a team you work better rather than have a bad atmosphere , apparently we can not talk to each other at work in corridors or elsewhere we can not car share to work yet the goverment like this scheme due to pollution , we can not have each other on social media , now I’m thinking this was work and not living at home at age of 12 with my parents , I’m a grown up wanting to work in a nice atmosphere but yet punished by 2 managers that car share go out socially together , had go macdonald a all the time and take unlimited ciggarette breaks , seems that there the bully’s and thank good I have all the evidence I need to stop my torture in this environment , with all new polices they keep bringing up they are acctualy commiting disaplinary actions themselves

    Funny I left with same issues never paid always app had holiday s then didn’t app had sick days , was told once I needed sort my appearance out , yet wearing same clothing mine was a leic store aswel begging with f manager begging with c never new somebody as abrupt , if please was in her vocabulary it wouldn’t be half as bad : yet shoplifters get better treatment off her

    I am the parent of a young lady working at a store in Sheffield, my daughter came home telling me that one of the managers there crossed my daughter off the rota for a shift after she had been trying to put in a holiday day for over a month. My daughter then went away for her birthday thinking it was all sorted but when she returned for her next shift the very same manager asked her where she had been and why did she do a no show! My daughter explained she crossed her off the rota and she watced her do it but the manager made her out to be a liar! That shift that manager was bullying my daughter constantly making her do extra jobs and then mimmy moking her behind her back. This is not the first time this has happened and if it continues my daughter will be putting in a formal complaint against the company. Bullying is not tolerated!!!!!

    I would like to make a complaint about a leather jacket I purchase in your Redditch store 13/7/2015. I have worn this jacket only twice when the seam on the arm near he elbow has come away when I put it on, I have today taken the jacket into the store to show the manager who accused me of ripping the jacket which I can assure you is not the case and I would say that the jacket/leather is not fit for purpose. I would like a reply on this matter. If not I shall be contact trading standards on his matter.

    I would like to put a formal complaint against your store manager at longwell green store for her very bad attitude towards a college called Milan omg I have never felt so upset for the young girl I would like her to be apologised to by management an highly given praise to from head office for her service to me but I defiantly want an outcome in writing to me for how she made me an my son an another customer while in the store her level of skills are zero an even tryed to put the poor girl in a position again whilst we were telling her how bad she is making us feel my address is 125 salcombe rd or I would like a call on 07505135130 many thanks Mrs Tarr

    I ordered a pair of jeans in a curtain size when received the size was smaller than ordered. I called the customer service line where I was told I have to wait a day for an exchange when I’m entitled to a straight swap the same day!! I asked for a manager and was told they where to busy to talk to a customer, there was me thinking if customers didn’t buy anything they wouldn’t be in a job? Anyway i then contacted the social media account who requested pictures of the jeans which I did then they said they can’t do anything because I have to wait for the manager! When I get the item the same its up to the customer what happens after 30days then it’s up to the retailer. The fact I have to wait due to the company being at fault is disgusting. I’m putting the fact I was given the wrong jeans down to discrimination as this is how feel because I ordered a biggest size you sell in those jeans. The pictures are clear enough that you can’t mistake the given for the size ordered. The agents I’ve spoken too where as unhelpful as ever. The wearhouse have made a mistake purposely. I believe disaplinary action is needed and compensation for the inconvience caused by the wrong size and the fact the manager refused to talk to me right away!

    I bought a top out of your silverburn store along with a jumper and trousers for a weekend I had planed I had asked 1 of the staff for a size 14 and didn’t notice till Saturday night till I was getting ready to go out that it was a size 12 and I was upset because I had to borrow a top from my friend so today Monday I had taken top to eastkilbride shop and they wouldn’t exchange as the said there was makeup on it and a catch on the top I am so angry and I have told the assistant today I will not be shopping again in river island and I have four adult grandchildren that I spend quite a lot of money in river island but so disappointed and won’t be back

    I am writing to complain about an order I made online, order number 36232826 I received an email on the 28 th of December to say it had arrived at Kirkcaldy store, on arriving on the 29 th to collect my parcel I was advised it couldn’t be found and that it might have been given to someone else with my surname, after speaking to. A sales advisor I was the manager was on her break but if I could return later they would have advised the manager and she would’ve dealt with it, on returning to store an hour later, I was advised no one had told the manager about my missing parcel after explaining she advised she could not find parcel either and phoned customer service, customer service then asked to speak to me and I was advised my money would be refunded, within 3 to 5 working days I advised this wasn’t good enough as I had paid £113 pounds for goods. Didn’t receive, also I asked to speak to a manager at customer services only to be told there was none available and was advised a manager would call within 24 hours and I am still waiting, also i lost out on all my sales goods and think I should be compensated for this, as on trying to order again most items were sold out,. I spend a lot of money in river island and am very disappointed with your service. I look forward to hearing back. From you

    We have invented a new textile fibre which is equivalent to pashmina. You can pass 2-2.5 mtr. Fabric from a small ring. The fabric is made by recycling of chicken feather. We have it’s patent so we can only make this. I am attaching it’s detail with this mail.

    We have our NGO (Sihiv hath kargha vastra utpadak shkari samiti at Rajsthan) in which we do hand weaving, hand embroidery, hand block printing, hand screen printing, garment stitching, leather accessories.

    Hi, I have recently called River Island a number of time to, try and place an order, because the web site was not completing my order, via payment of debit card, only to be told I can not place a order on the phone when I live in Spain. I then wrote an E-mail, with a reply to use a different Brower, which I did and used a different computer, then I sent another E-mail saying I still could not place the order, which then I had a reply, which said I need to call, I explain Again! I had already gone through calling, which then I had a reply, Its my Pay pal account, I then wrote an E-mail to say I do not have a Pay pal account. I really think River Island needs to get its act together over customer service. I have not given up trying to order from River Island, I will not be using them again! I have been a loyal customer for over 22 years!
