    Christmas is almost here, time passes so quickly, a few weeks ago we were on our summer holiday and the festive season was at the back of our thoughts, so please spare a few minutes and read below.

    I am an employee of Parcelforce Worldwide and I am writing to ask if you would be interested in donating an item or service for our upcoming Christmas Raffle?

    This year our chosen charity is the ‘Stroke Association’. Every year there are approximately 152,000 strokes in the UK, that’s one stroke every 3 ½ minutes, most people affected are over 65 but anyone can have a stroke including children and babies. The raffle is a vital part of our annual fundraising and last year we managed to raise in excess of £2 million.

    With the support and creative ideas throughout the business, we are well on the way to achieving another fantastic amount. The funds raised will be utilised in aiding people affected by a stroke with their rehabilitation, getting them back to living as independently as possible as soon as possible and providing social, emotional and practical support.

    We would be very grateful for any item or service you would be generous enough to offer.
