I have never come across such an inefficient and inadequate service. In July I ordered a small metal part of the inner frame of what they have the nerve to call the Rolls Royce of trolleys. I have never heard of a car without a brake.
Instead I received the outer frame which arrived without back wheels. Eventually they said they they would replace it – which they did, but again it came without back wheels. After complaining again they said they would send another and that they would collect the 2 useless trolleys on Saturday 15th September. They did not. I spent 2. Days waiting for them. Another trolley arrived, with no back wheels. An odd job man took the back wheels off the original trolley and put them on the latest trolley. It was unstable and the lid kept blowing off . I had said many times that Ineeded this trolley for balance. A customer nservice lady (very nice ) said just to dispose of the 2 useless trolleys. I was reaching the end of my patience and rang to say that I wanted a refund. It had been told that it would be picked up on Saturday 29t September, but I rang again on the 28th to say that a trolleyI had ordered from another firm was out of stock band would not be delivered until 29th October and asked if the pickup could be postponed until the new trolley arrived as I could not go out without a trolley because of my lack of balance. I was told by this rather nasty woman that pick ups had to be cancelled by 2pm and that if I didn’t send it back on the 29th then I would not be entitled to a refund. I said I could not possibly stay in far a month and Nashe said in so many words ‘too bad’. At that point I very much regret that I lost my temper and told her to go to hell. I regret this, but as I sId to her surely she could give me some leeway considering all the trouble I have had with your firm for 3 months. But I packed it up and waited until Hermes came to collect it the next day. THEY NEVER CAME – what a surprise. I am 84, live alone and am partially sighted and disabled and I have no one to help me. I live in a very small flat and am sick and tired of this box cluttering up my hall. All in all, an babsolute disgrace.
