    My new TV keeps flashing ‘wifi dongle removed, wifi dongle detected’ ?????? I am just trying to watch TV!!!!!! I am so disappointed as this is my first Toshiba product and it could very well be the last one. The product details are- 40D345*DB LED Backlight LCD TV.

    I wish to complain about the appalling service I am currently receiving from Toshiba, I recently put my laptop in for repair through your service network which I purchased in November. Somehow between it leaving my house and being collected by YOUR arranged courier DPD it appears to have received some damage or so I’m told. This laptop was in mint condition as I made a point of wiping it down after use plus took extra care due to its value.
    I looked on your website to obtain an update to see a note saying further info required, Concerned I made a call to be told it is all damaged and the corner of the box had been smashed in, Now I’m not stupid and suspect this has been damaged in transit therefore if this is the case then DPD should be held responsible but the guy on the 1st call said it was up to me to take up with DPD, No I told him as it wasn’t me who arranged the courier but Toshiba so it was down to you. At 1st it wasn’t getting fixed under warranty due to damage and I wasn’t getting anywhere so I demanded a Manager ring me to discuss my case. Next I get a phone call to discuss my damage again stating I must have sent it in damaged plus the story from the 1st call differed from the last as in different damage, Hmm I smell a rat. Finally I get a call from another Gent from I’m guessing customer Services, Story again differed and the case has gone from smashed at one stage to cracked, I stated that they need to fix it and claim from DPD but he said they won’t bother doing anything, So it’s ok to take someone’s property into your care and accept it gets damaged with the so what!! attitude, All of a sudden now your replacing the screen under warranty but not the case despite it being so badly damaged on the outside of the laptop indicating I’ve thrown it around but you will do the screen. Come on their isn’t an issue somewhere.
    Upon return of my Laptop if it is still damaged I will be in touch with Trading standards as well as any other trading bodies I can and your review won’t be great.
    You only have to look at the amount of similar complaint cases on your own website to realise your Customer Service has to be one of the worst, Look’s like a great way to gain future customers to me.

      John Ellis pls look at following because I had exactly same problem and neither DpD or Toshiba want to own up to extra damage caused to my laptop.Hi Mark,

      Just following up from our phone call, in regards to your laptop arriving with Toshiba even more damaged than it originally was I am sorry the item got damaged in transit, you would to contact Toshiba as they are the account holder with DPD any investigation needs to be raised by them.

      We will be more than happy to investigate this issue with Toshiba.

        i have the same issue at the moment my laptop was sent with toshiba’s courier service . I then get an email that screen is cracked , it was not cracked or damaged in any way. They further advised me that the crack is not under guarantee and no mention of the problem i called them for in the first place, after numerous emails they want me to pay an amazing amount of money to send it back unfixed, as the charge to fix it was crazy, and i did not have a crack in the first place.

        I believe we the consumer should club to get justice as they have my laptop which i will not pay for to fix as would cost more than buying a new one awful awful any one reading get in touch

    I bought Toshiba full HD smart LED TV & have used it for 14mths, evenings only( not a great TV sit down and watch person)when it suddenly stopped working as in no screen or sound. I contact Coop Electricals from whom I bought it but they said I needed to contact Toshiba. This TV was supposed to have I quote ” includes a 5year warranty ” . Toshiba needed a registered number which I couldn’t find so wouldn’t help. Coop still say it’s not their problem as itxwas a promotion so came from Toshiba.
    I feel cheated and angry that no one wants to take responsibility over this warranty business.
    Also according to Consumer Rights & the Sale if Goods Act 1979 ,goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. 1) as advertised, 5yr warranty 2)last a,reasonable time !! 3) clearly not as it doesn’t work.Therefore on all accounts it doesn’t meet these standards and I can’t afford another one.
    A consumer has six years in the UK from the time they buy something in which to make a claim, irrespective of how long the goods actually last.
    As for Toshiba’s reputation, I think they should help their customers and not turn them away. Taking pride in their products also means standing by their products and when they break down do something to help the purchaser/Consumer if they want future custom from them,their family and friends.

    I have tried to use your websites (and other forums) in order to solve a problem and maybe get a download, but the Part No. and Serial No. above are not recognised by your site.

    Here is my problem, which I have had for over a week now – basically, after getting my laptop upgraded to Windows 10, I cannot get any sound, There is very occasionally a system sound on startup, and even less frequently can I get any sound from a video, either online or on disc.

    I have looked for help via Microsoft, and have tried all the solutions they provide, including updating drivers, uninstalling drivers and restart, and updating driver software. Through the Settings on the laptop, I am told that Speakers and Drivers are working, but they are clearly not.

    The sound drivers I appear to have are “High Definition Audio Device” and “Intel (R) Display Audio” – this last one was updated via my AVG Driver Updater.

    Can someone at Toshiba tell me, please, in layman’s language, without simply referring me to any websites, what I or you can do further about solving this problem.

    We here in cameroon are some what disappointed with the quality of the toshiba flash drives that arive the market, if after about 3 months of using, it doesn’t start giving errors like “please insert disk”, it will just keep saying “write protected can’t formt”, we not happy at all we spend money on these things, analyse this thing for yourselves, is it fair?

    I write to complain about the appalling after sales service I am receiving in relation my laptop which has been with your customer repair centre since October 2016. The laptop (A radius 15 P50W-10c) was purchased on the 25th March of last year, in early July I reported a problem with the screen. The laptop was returned to me at the end of the month having had the screen replaced (as this was the reported fault).
    So out of the four months I had the laptop 25% of the time it was at your repair centre. OK I thought these things happen, however in October the very same fault reappeared, once again it was sent to the repair centre on the 28th Oct 2016. After weeks of not hearing anything I chased up the repair centre to be told that once again the screen needs replacing but also the keyboard. Since then nothing every time I enquire about progress all I get is its waiting on spares.
    So in the 9 months I have had the laptop it has been in your workshop for 3 months (33%) of that time with no telling when I will get it back.

    This is the most appalling support I have ever come across, and I’m in IT!
    So either repair and send me back my laptop or provide me with a new replacement.

    PS my repair reference is GAR20D0013

    I just thought I would contact you regarding my toshiba 3D television which is a regaza I have had it in for repair twice for the same thing the power on button keeps going off so I am not able to turn the tv on as there are no manual switches ,it’s 6 years old not used very often so I can not understand why this keeps happening so far I have pulled out £100 for the problem to,be fixed only for it to go once again I have had a Sony tv for over 10 years which is used every day and never!!!!! had a problem with it I am not very happy as it was not cheap to buy I look forward to a reply as soon as possible it has been taken to a reputable to repair shop which deals with toshiba TVs I hope you can get this problem resolved for me

    This was very urgent as a crime was committed and the police need the data so rushed out and paid good money for your equipment was told i have to format it but it is so difficult and frankly stupid the way u set these things up why cant u just make the device when u plug it in take u through the possess but no u have to make as difficult as possible never will i by anything from toshiba again i am disgusted with with your products.
