    Hi travel lodge to who may read this, this afternoon I checked in to your hotel in slough,now to a mistake by my company they booked at room at your hotel in middlewhich no problem it hought they have a reference number here they can just change the location ?no your employee on desk says we only have room for one night every room in this hotel booked we have room for one night and I have to pay £100 for room fine I spoke to my employee they realised what they had done and rebooked online at hotel in Slough to my amazement there is a room for 2 nights available and wait after going to my room and finding rubbish under bed hairs in my bed and grime around carpet edges guess what I complained and wow get offered another room seems like your employee would rather me find another hotel than tell me you have rooms free but not before you steel £100 pounds please don’t reply to this I hate to read rubbish about training for staff your employee wouldn’t care if I had to sleep on the streets tonight !!!

    As a family, we have used Travelodge since the mid eighties. although the standards of individual hotels in the chain have varied from perfectly OK to pretty dire, we have always been impressed by the friendliness of the staff. We use the facilities about twice a year. One absolutely serious gripe is that it is quite simply IMPOSSIBLE to contact anyone at Travelodge if you’re outside the UK. ALL the phone numbers given can only be dialled from within the UK. COMPLETELY HOPELESS if you’re on the way to or from the UK and have to tell them or ask them something important. Emails are a dead loss because the answer can take a week. The Head Office number +44 1844 358 500 is the only one accessible from abroad. Travelodge – DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! Please!

    Hi I staying at your Enfield site on the 4th Jan a fight had broke out I and many others left in distress the place was called around 1am thinnest morning I spoke to the manager of the hotel he promised a full refund and for the stint of food I had that was also undercooked. 3 females were left to run everything that night 1 had beer poured over her. Now I’m having to chase my refund however I’m going in circles with LateRooms.com and your crowd please can I have this resolved asap confirmation number is 1405163782

    We stayed at the Slough hotel over xmas.On xmas eve there was a fire alarm
    we waited in the street until the all clear. We were promised to get an e-mail
    for the sum of £28 which was the price of the room that night. We live in Spain I have rung the hotel 4 times now they keep telling me that Head Office has been told. We have to come over in June to the hotel. Will you e-mail me the offer code now so I can make the booking.

    I received the e voucher number from you for the sum of £28 I went into my account and tried to make a booking for 6 nights in June every time I put the e voucher code in it said it did not recognise the number and would not let me make the booking with the discount. Would you please resolve this siuation as soon as possible as I live in Spain and flights along with car hire are already booked.

    I was staying at your hotel last night the 25.2.16 at ab210hw and was speaking to michaela hotel manager who informed me that I was barred from every travelodge hotel in the UK and my surname was black listed because Irish travellers always complain so I would like a response ASAP in regards to this issue please thanks Mr Maughan

    We live just south of the border in Ireland. We have employees staying in your Belfast hotel regularly. One of them left an important item in your hotel but we are unable to phone the hotel because there is no number supplied for people calling from outside the U.K.

    We booked a room for 4 nights in Cumbria ,on arriving our room was dirty and for the next 3 days stayed the same We were offered an e voucher for £37 which softened the blow,this year we booked the same travelodge and were told by the person taking the payment we had the aforesaid voucher …but the system would let us use it? We will call you- they didn’t .today we’ve booked another stay and the same you can’t use the voucher .its expired …what???? This is ridiculous the voucher is dated from August and we booked in January…..NOT HAPPY !

    Could you please update me on taking guns into your hotel we shoot competitions and use your hotels over the last five years we was told this year guns wasn’t allowed in your hotel in great dunmow we had traveled 190 mile to shoot a comp and had to leave the guns in the car we know 100 s of people who shoot compsand use your hotel there must have been 100 s in April shooting in Essex we need to know for next year as we need to book early thank you

    on the 7th april a insident happen were there was a item taken out of my room iv had one phone call 2 wks after it happened but nothing since still waiting the travel lodge i stayed in was manchester centrel this was the first time i stayed in a travel lodge and the last im dis appointed that its taken so long for explnation m pearson

    I had an email referring to a free Sunday night when you book a sat between some June dates. I was well in the dates and I tries to book a date… the code didnt work !! I then received a second email to which I tried again to book the sat… I rang head office which couldn’t help. tried the call centre which took ages at 13p a min on my phone and had no answer for ages. I am extremely annoyed. why send two emails when you cant get any of the promotions.

    We stayed at your Borehamwood Travelodge and I must admit that it was the most uncomfortable night I have had. The room was stiffling hot, at one stage I actualy thought I was going to suffocate. Had to ask reception for a fan.
    Surely a big chain like yourselves would have installed air cons as a matter of course in your hotels. I can honestly say I will not be using your hotels again.

    I am trying to reply to Helen Ambrose at a Customer service as I had an email from her saying she wanted to credit me with a evoucher I registered but have had nothing . I phoned and on Saturday 10 Sept booked Travelodge for 3nights 22-25 Preston Sands Devon want the evoucher taken off this payment . The guy who took my booking said he could not find evoucher where do I go from here to get this sorted . I have tried to re register with out any luck ,hoping you can help with this matter very simple just a just the payment I made on Saturday you have my details . Hopping for a reply

    after staying at one of your hotels for 2 nights on the 21/10/16 to 23/10/16 the booking as made through my company as I was working now London.
    on the Saturday when I went to work in left my Ecig on the side when I returned that evening you Ecig had gone when I reported this is was told that the cleaning staff that was on this weekend was not the normal cleaning staff and that they were not reliable or trusted but I was told there was nothing they could do to my disappointment and that was that.
    The hotel was city airport silvertown.
    I hope that something will be done to replace my property.

    Hello I was looking for contact of the personnel who deal with accessibility for people with disabilities at Travel Lodge. The reason for this is I have just had a meeting with Shropshire Fire Service today and they have informed me that you provide excellent service regarding accessible rooms with extra personnel being on duty to assist disabled guests should an emergency arise. It is for this reason I wanted to contact Travel Lodge so that I can understand why you have such an outstanding report from the fire service so that I can recommend your service to other guests who are disabled and also share best practice with other hotels and venues.

    I want immediate action on the issue below. I don’t want an Evoucher and free breakfast like your receptionist offered, i want your staff re trained
    I will be leaving the following feedback on TripAdvisor, Facebook and many other online review sites!!!! I’m appalled.

    Narrow-minded, Anti-Semitic Harebrained Staff

    I’d like to start by articulating the following. The rooms at Tadcaster are comfortable, peachy and adequate for a short stay. The price is stupendous for those of us on a budget over Christmas. However what my husband and I witnessed on the morning of the 31/12/2016 was appallingly hurrendous to say the least!!!
    My story… We where checked in by a young gentleman on the 30/12/2016. He was knowledgeable and even showed us to our abode for the next three days, carrying our bags which was very kind. The stay was going perfectly, that is until the following morning!
    We where leaving for the day to purruse York at 11.25am. upon leaving we couldn’t find a receptionist to talk to about local York tour information. We pressed a buzzer on the reception desk at least 5 times over the course of 10 minutes to which no one came to help us. My husband and I felt it necessary to go on the hunt around the Travelodge for staff.
    We came across an open room door with a very young cleaner inside. She informed us that the receptionist was probably busy upstairs and that we should try there!!! Off we strolled!
    When we eventually found a member of staff at the end of the upstairs corridor (dark haired lady, Emily?!) She was involved in a very heated argument with another member of staff (a mature looking black man) there voices where raised and my husband thought this confrontation could lead into fisticuffs!
    We stayed back and witnessed the following terrible scenes.
    The dark haired lady was upset that the black man had not cleaned his rooms to which he responded I’ll find another job. Then she said the following word for word…Well you’re black cleaning is all you guys are good for. Good luck finding another job. The man responded by chasing the lady into a nearby room. He then stormed passed us and left the Travelodge!!!
    We quickly left for the day after this. My husband was furious as he comes from a minority black background himself!! He didn’t want to return to the Travelodge, but with alot of persuading we eventually did.
    If you want to witness first hand a very low budget, racist version of EastEnders then Tadcaster Travelodge is for you! We will NEVER stay again. Everyone be warned!!!

    Hi Guys,
    Re your new Lodge on Heaton Lane Stockport.
    I reside and also own a pub on Heaton Lane about 500 yards from your lodge.
    I would like to make you aware of the excessive noise polution ( from boy racers) on the car park opposite and also the dangerous driving that is happening on a practically daily basis. This has been happening for about 12 years.
    My business has suffered dramatically financially due to this noise and I thought that I would bring the matter to your attention. I would be very surprised if your guests would tolerate this especially as it goes on to midnight most nights.
    Currently I am liasing with the police, local councilor,environmental health & My MP Anne Coffey.
    This has to stop but being the only resident on Heaton Lane I keep getting fobbed off. Hence the Email. I would highly recommend a site visit on a Thursday night to experience what your guests have to endure.

    Complaint regarding stay at Hilsea in Nov. 2016 and was advised that I would receive a credit of £196 confirmed by e:mail 7/11/16, only ref. seemed to be 15071-1512021.
    When querying on 22/12/16 was told to apply to set up an a/c and was not told how to action this. Followed up with your customer services earlier in January 2017, but still no proper reply.
    This is appalling customer service and I am therefore no further forward in this matter.
    Would you please try and give me some customer satisfaction

    Was treated poorly as an employee and as put out on the street due to the mangers friendship with my mother inlaw.. my husband did not want me working there and turned my uniform in for me without my consent and no one bother to inform me or ask me if that’s what I wanted was to quit.. I tired to get my own room away from my husband to just gain clarity and was told no I had to leave cause he works for the tree company’s and I have been homeless since.. my mother in law has handed my manager bags of weed right in front of me so morally I don’t think it was an issue u it was more siding with my mother in law., I loved my job and had no desire to quit but I was not given the choice..my husband has since self mutated his arm by burning himself and was concerned enough to inform tori and Rick and they said ” not their fucking problem”.. . I feel that not only am I in a state of crisis right now but I’m traumatihavingredient to lose everything I’ve ever own .. I’m 44 and have one bag of clothing to my name..since they had leave everything behind withour a car it’s impossible.. now I see yet anther tree guy is in trouble with the law and I did nothing but try to be the best employee I could be .. my husband is still there while I’m on the streets something I’ve never had to endure before..I feel that I was not only mistreated due to my mother in laws influence and her free pot but they fact I’m a human being wasn’t even taken into account. I worked there I’m well aware of the darker side of the hotel life., I had not intention to stop working but I guess my husbands had more say than me.. I feel that if I had been dealt with by a professional I wouldn’t be living this nightmare that I am.. I maybe my marriage could of be saved but not now.. to be told I had to leave cause my husband has priority over my cause his employer pays for his room is ridiculous when I had cash in hand..not to mention it was pouring rain I ended up staying out in the weather all night cause the hotels in the area are all booked. I have decided to talk to a lawyer since my life was decided for me and I was treated like a second class citizen..never again will I or my family stay at a travelodge ..

    I went to Travel Lodge Suites Okeechobee FL for my honeymoon july 1st through 5th and it was the worst arrangements I have ever made. I got the vacation on priceline.com and wrote to them my complaints. next thing I know the owner (some guy from India, Shy….) calls me on my personal phone and starts yelling at me. I hung up and he proceeded to leave an angry message going through all my complaints as I had written them trying to convince himself (or me) that I was wrong and I will never be able to go there and because of me no one else will be helped either. I have the message on my phone. one of the issues was that the website I was on said “pet friendly”. no where did it say dog friendly only, I have a service cat. 14 years old, no claws, no damage. We had to pay extra fee for cat, fine, but then we had to do buy a kennel to put cat into because we could not leave the room unattended. they never came in to clean how would they have known if cat was out? I had to ask the housekeeping why they didnt clean when the sign was off the door. the woman told them not to clean. why? I didnt say that. if the sign is on door, do not disturb. if the sign is off, come clean. isnt that the way it is to work? he yelled at me for that. and the fact that they let me have the cat anyway. PET FRIENDLY, how is a cat not a pet? It was awful. never told us where vending machines were or where they served the breakfast. I never saw him til I checked out and he just handed me a bill of which I had already paid for. Why was I getting a duplicate? as franchises go, this is the worst and I will never go to a Travel Lodge again. they made your company look foolish, made my honeymoon uncomfortable, and I was grievously offended. I could have stayed home, saved the money, gas, time, and headaches, and had a better time sleeping on the couch. watch who you franchise with, they are turning your company into a low rate no star hotel.
