I bought a pair of Trespass wellington boots from Dorchester in Dorset shop and felt really pleased with them as such a lovely fit BUT a month later the edge of the boot leaked as the seal had gone. i took the boots back to the shop and told them and they replaced them for me with an identical pair and then a month later the same thing happened again. Feeling disappoint i gave up on them as the spring was approaching and i wore my walking boots instead but i now need to think about more boots and i feel extremely annoyed that i had virtually no use practically from either pair of boots and they were not exactly cheap….in fact the pair i paid £8 in TOFS lasted longer but i paid more as i use them a lot to walk the dog and thought i would get longer service! Not to be so now i have to pay for yet another pair but it will not be Trespass Boots!!!

    Hi
At the end of March I purchased a fleece jacket from Trespass|Nevisport Bents Garden & Home Glazbury.
Unfortunately after wearing the fleece once the jacket became unusually pilled in several places. Significantly the lower centre front , under both lower sleeves.I have worn the garment 4 times and the pilling is so noticeable and visually so scruffy that I can’t wear it. I believe the jacket is not fit for purpose. I appreciate cheap fleece will pill but ,as I own several similar Trespass fleeces I feel this must be faulty batch. I had intended to just bin the item and just not purchase similar products in the future but after talking to several friends in the customer service professional I was advised, even though some time has passed since the purchase , I should return the item to the shop where I purchased the product. It is obvious the jacket has not been washed and the pills are in areas where there is little or no friction.
Today I took the jacket to the shop who contacted their customer service . Apparently, although they agree with my complaint, and agree that the pills are unusual because I didn’t return the jacket within 30 days they will not exchange the jacket. As I am 100% convinced that there is a problem with the quality of the jacket I asked them to return the jacket to you, Trespass, in order for you to see the poor quality. Apparently they spoke , yet again to their head office, who said it would be too expensive to do this. In their view I have to accept that I can do nothing!
I do accept that when I bought the jacket their was no pilling on it. However I do expect a garment made in this fabric to last more than 4 outing….actually I would expect a jacket to last more than five months.
I would be happy to hear your views regarding this matter. What would you suggest I do in this situation?
I must stress I have been very disappointed with the customer service to date.
    Thank you for your time.
