can you assure me that you are not closing our store in Burgess Hill when the Haywards Heath branch is opened.

many of the residents of Burgess Hill are very concerned as we have heard Waitrose is being replaced by Morrisons on completion of the new store.

This is my favourite place to shop and I and my friends walk on a daily basis and wont be able to go to another town to do our shopping.

    What is happening at Waitrose?
Last year my Christmas order was unavailable, we were informed of this the day before we were due to collect it! Thought we would try again this year and all seemed to be going smoothly, only to receive a phone call on the morning we were to collect from your Northwich store to say a payment had failed and they needed my card details! I declined to give this as I couldn’t understand why there had been a payment failure, when I had not tried to make a payment! Also when I placed my Christmas order, it was on the understanding that items would be paid for when collected. When we arrived at the store there was a lot of toing and froing and I was not allowed my order until payment has been made by taking my card and paying in the back! I couldn’t pay for the items with the rest of my shop because of a PAYMENT FAILURE!! Again I fail to understand why!!! I must also stress that the store is becoming very much like other supermarkets, where the customer appears to come last, in that shelves look empty, not enough staff on tills, even though store is busy. Making the overall shopping experience a nightmare instead of a pleasurable experience. I would like to thank the lady (Ebu) who assisted us on Thurs 22/12/16 when all this took place. I am left wondering if it is worthwhile to place a Christmas order with you next year because of the needless hassle involved!!
I would welcome your comments and will wait to hear from you shortly.
    Yours sincerely.
    Mrs C Page

I thought the chicken chunks felt slightly sticky and I noticed a white liquid leaking from the chicken breast as I was frying it. I checked the packaging but no mention of additives (I was ,however, surprised that the fact it was maize fed was extolled as benefit for “quality, succulent chicken” In fact the feeding of corn to livestock reduces the nutritional value for us the consumer) I have heard that frozen chicken is often treated in this way but I was very disappointed to read that it is completely legal to contaminate our fresh chicken with injections of salt/sugar/fat etc solutions but was more disappointed that Waitrose,a shop I trust, seemed to be selling it I hope you can reassure me that I am mistaken in my assumptions

All this fuss about free tea /coffee
I always though you had to buy goods first. After all that’s when you need a pick me up!
Personally I would rather have some sort of water fountain. Cold & very cold. Thank you very much
