Zara is a Spanish multinational clothing and accessories retailer headquartered in Arteixo, Spain.     I am totally disgusted at the inability of your stores to pick up their phones, customer service that don’t get back to you and now head office who also do not pick up the phone and just disconnect it. I spend a lot of money with Zara clothes and feel appauled at your lack of customer care. Please will someone have the courtesy to phone me. 07799410615. I am a very unhappy customer.

    My phone was lost in Zara Women (Bullring Birmingham) in Oct. 31 of 2015. I am a researcher in an academic organisation. There are very important data for my research which were collected for half a year. I just tried on a jacket in the store for several minutes and the phone disappeared suddenly. I am sure my phone was lost in the store, so I asked the help from the staff in the store. The security just asked the cash desk and fitting room if someone handed in a phone, then they told me no one handed in a phone. That’s it. I asked them if it is possible for them to check the CCTV in the store, so it can be clear for what happened to my phone. I expressed that I would not view the record and the security could just let me know if there was an incident happened in the past a few minutes. They refused to do so and told me they would do nothing for me. ZARA said the security’s job is for the safety of the store, not for customers. They also said they do not have CCTV in the store. And the manager rejected to speak to me in the day. Because nobody in the store was willing to help me, I had to left the store. In fact, in my knowledge, the stores in Bullring shopping mall must have CCTV. This is a very basic facility for such a big store.

    The next day, I went do police station to report. But police told me I have to ask ZARA Women to check CCTV first, otherwise they are unable to help me. Police rang the store in several times and no one picked up the phone. Police tole me I had to speak to ZARA Women again and Zara could give a call to the police. This time I saw the manager and security. I speaked to the manager first and she said they have CCTV which security might check. But security said they alread told me everything, then the manager also change her attitude completely and suddenly. They refused to check CCTV and refused to give a call to the plice. They just do not want to be bothered.

    I was a customer with very high loyality for Zara for many years. I like Zara not only for its clothes, but also for the purchasing environment and brand culture. I thought the purchasing environment was good and it had carings for we customers. In fact, it is not. Zara did not take any care of its customers. I asked Zara Women in Bullring Birmingham if they wanna lose the loyality of a group of young people for the brand. Zara Women in Bullring Birmingham just repeated that it was not their business to do something for issues of customers’ property safety in the store even when they are shopping and purchasing in the store. I am wondering how the customers can be relaxed and go shopping in the store.

    I cannot express my feelings. I just feel really very very hurt as a brand of my great favour treat me with such an indifferent attitude. How can a brand treat its loyal customers in this way? It is really unfair for ZARA customers. How shall we keep our fovour and loyality to a brand which never care for its customers? I hope Zara can give a response to me. Really hope Zara can give response to a loyal customer.

      It was security that took it, Asian guy called Muhammad Imran , he still works there now I think he also steels phones if no one catches him.

    hello I would like to make a complaint. I bought a sale blouse in the January sales in your Exeter store. When I brought it home it didn’t fit. I have misplaced the receipt but the item of clothing still had it tags on. On the 13th January, I drove from my home town of Barnstaple back up to Exeter to exchange for a bigger size. I spoke with the manger who was very rude and not helpful. She said without the receipt I could do nothing. I asked her to swop for a bigger size but she refused this as well. I explained to her that I have witnessed in the Zara Exeter when I have bought the blouse a women in front of me was returning children’s clothes without receipts, and she was given a gift card. The manger said well we don’t do it anymore. I explained that im a regular shopper to the branch and I felt disappointed with the lack of customer care, considering the sale item was current and I had bought it a few weeks ago. Please could I receive an explanation as to why this was. I have the blouse with all my tags if you would like me to send it to you, so you can see its current stock.

    I was recently employed by your Guildford store. I was told I HAD to take my holiday in January, certainly before March or I would lose them. Then, once I had booked them I was told I wouldn’t be paid for it as I wasn’t entitled to any holiday pay. Previous to this I had worked all over Christmas and the new year and early January when it was clear you needed as many staff as possible, fair enough, I did that. When I had worked all over Christmas and through the sales I was told that my contract would be terminated as they no longer needed the staff. Okay, not great but I understood. I waited to be paid at the end of January, no pay, you seem to have a problem paying directly into a bank account, despite me giving you all of my details but instead have delayed my (scarily low) salary two out of three times by sending a cheque. I have now finished working in your shop, an experience I am unlikely to forget. The last time I was paid was just before Christmas, I have asked where my money and wage slip are, as there is definitely no money in my account. Apparently, you, in head office are ‘working out’ what I need to be paid, and that will happen after the 15th February. So that will be seven weeks since the last time I was paid, and if a cheque arrives it will be even later. I have popped into the shop for more details and been told I have to contact your head office, a number which none of the managers in Guildford were able to provide…top secret evidently, a bit like your accounts system. Fortunately I am not starving and I have a very understanding girlfriend who is footing my share of the bills for now. Nor do I have a family to feed or a mortgage to pay, not that any of this would particularly bother you. It’s been three days since I am no longer a member of staff, nearly six weeks since I was last paid for a job in which I travelled an hour every day to make sure I was there to fold clothes, not talk to other staff (not allowed) told to “Run Faster” regularly by the management, who in varying degrees looked more miserable than the staff they were ‘managing’ in an effort to hit their targets. I know that economically things are a bit tough out there, I feel for you, I am also struggling a bit, especially since my contract has been terminated. Can it really be that hard to work out what you owe me and pay it directly into my account as soon as possible?

      I’ve had the same issue, although I wasn’t given holidays. I was paid in cheque for the first month as I had just switched banks and hadn’t received all details. Despite me repeatedly asking to give my details no manager ever updated the system, and I got cheques every month. I was then told my contract would be terminated and now I’m wondering if I’ll be paid for what i worked or not.

    On 27 Feb I bought an £50 e gift token for my 10 year old granddaughter’s birthday. I had confirmation of delivery. Great. Her mother printed it out, took excited child to spend her birthday token at ZARA. Informed at checkout that it had been refunded. NOT at my request. After many many emails I am informed that it was a data input error. The only compensation for ruined birthday treat has been the offer of ‘free express delivery on next order’. My granddaughter does not shop online. I am told that I cannot contact head office directly!

    Hope everything is good at your end.

    Let me start by introducing myself, this is Kanzy Radwan from Egypt. I’m working in the Marketing department at Atlantic Industries (The Coca-Cola Company). Unfortunately, I’m writing down this message with extreme disappointment, given that I’m a regular Zara customer across all countries, and I despite the fact that I get to travel a lot, I still buy from Egypt branches with an average bill per time of 5000L.E, despite the over rated prices and extremely poor quality we find here in our stores.

    Let me take you through the situation my brother and I had faced yesterday (the 25th of March) at Zara City Stars Egypt. We’ve walked in to buy a blazer and a pair of shoes from the men’s department and went to the cashier to proceed with paying (which is the normal process but apparently it differs in Egypt). To start with there was a one cashier working out of two which happens regularly in without any valid reason despite the timings or the crowd. There was this lady in the beginning of the line who was still selecting between items while keeping her place in the beginning of line without any respect to other consumers and what was surprising is that the salesmen didn’t take any actions and when I asked why isn’t the other cashier working after 20mins of our stay in the same place, I’ve received the reply of “ you can proceed with paying in the women’s section” and when I insisted to get a reply on my question, the answer was “ we’ll resume it now”, adding that the queue had reached Zara’s main access door.

    Another 15 minutes had passed, and nothing changed, however, there was side talks and silly smiles between the lady and Zara’s worker around how they are stalling the process as a reaction for my comment about the delay in the process, and it’s worth mentioning that until this moment they haven’t resumed working with Cashier no.2. Consumers started to complain as well as my brother and I as we were the ones right after the lady in the queue. My voice started to become louder saying that I’ll raise the case to Azadea, and what I’ve received as a reaction from Zara’s working who was standing on the cashier handling the lady’s purchasing process as well as selecting between the items, is a sarcastic silly lough without any consideration to how frustrated we are, and still there was no action taken regarding cashier no.2, regardless of the huge number of salesmen available in the store.

    It’s extremely unprofessional how a big of a brand like Zara hires people who are not only unqualified to deal with consumers as well as incapable enough to handle situations, but to react in a disrespectful way that increases the amount of anger.

    I’ll proceed with raisin the case to Zara’s headquarters, as well as contacting the CEO and posting it on the official Facebook Fan-page that has more than 23M fans.

    I made a purchase at a Zara Store in Glendale, Ca using my credit card. A week later this same credit card was compromised. Someone was using my number to make purchases on line. My credit card company closed my account and told me to cut up my credit card (the same one I used to purchase my Zara clothes).

    I went to Zara with a return. I had my receipt; the garments were unworn and had the original price tickets on them. The store manager told me she could not refund my money because I did not have my credit card (the same card my credit card company told me to cut up due to illegal purchases).

    I explained the situation and showed her my new card which was now linked to my old card. She told me I still could not get refunded back my money because they needed the original card.

    I have had other retailers who had no problem refunding my money even though this card had to be destroyed due to fraud.

    I would like for Zara to refund me my money as well (no stone credit since I am returning within 30 days and with the original receipts).

    I confused to why the store manager and your Abigal J. in your home office are telling me this can’t be done.

    My credit card was hacked into. I took all actions to make sure I was protected. Now Zara is taking advantage of this situation by not refunding my money because I don’t have this credit card anymore.

    I believe you will do the right thing. If not, I will be notifing the “Better Business Bureau” and “Consumer Rights Board” as well as my Local representatives on this.

    Bought items from Touchwood Zara Shop uk on 16th May. Found the blouse had a faulty press-stud fastening and tried to ring the shop. Someone answered with ‘hello’ and immediately put the phone down. Have since tried on numerous occasions at various times always letting the telephone ring for quite a while but to no avail. Whilst in the shop my husband went up the the next floor. He said the phone was constantly ringing the whole time and the male assistant didn’t bother picking it up even though he wasn’t busy with customers. I guess that’ll be another unhappy customer. I am extremely annoyed at my time being wasted and I would like to have a perfect blouse put by until I can get to the store next week. Having looked at the previous comments it looks like it’s your ‘Company policy NOT to pick up the phone’. If your telephone answering skills are anything to go by I expect I’ll never have a response to this email and if that is the case it’s pretty pointless having an online Customer Service. I’ll try and send a complaint to your Headquarters and see if they respond.

    Ive alway liked zara,s clothes range but On 21/5/2016 I brought a jacket 10002907 0409656240054 £59.99 and matching trousers from zara leeds 129 Briggate LS1 6HF uk city centre store,I tried on the jacket which had my size in bold print and thought the trousers 10001877 0409756240040 £29.99 bold print was correct,realising the trousers were way to small.The day after i decided to them back with price tags and receipt ,I was surprised with the zara managers action stating that no way are they going to change the trousers for the correct size because i took the label off ,i said but the label and receipt are here,she insisted in a loud unprofessional manner ” that no way are we exchanging or refunding and leave the store and take your property with you “i then said if i can,t exchange the trousers well i no longer need the jacket,the manager took the jacket from the bag which still had labels & price tag and shouted out you have got it dirty ,i said i have not even taken it from the bag she replied “do what you want its your property and please leave the store “.by this time a line was forming so i left the trousers on the counter and left with a jacket i no longer need feeling so let down and embarrassed.As a spending customer i don’t expect to be dealt with in such a way,please reply thanks Mr D claxton uk bradford ..email dclax@hotmail.co.uk

    Impossible to get someone to pick up a phone in store. I’ve tried ssooo many different stores, just to see what happens. I get the impression that although the stores have a telephone number, the staff have had instructions NEVER to pick up the phone, especially if they are frightened of complaints.

    I went into zara two weeks ago in the hope of obtaining a refund on a shirt that I bought. unfortunately I misplaced my receipt which meant a refund wasn’t possible. I did ask what appeared to be the manager if I could still go ahead with refund as the label was still attached to the shirt. she was very rude in relaying the message that I couldn’t do so and came across extremely patronising which made me feel very uncomfortably. she then proceeded to tell me I could exchange the item of clothing and said for me to do so she would need proof of purchase e.g bank statement with the zara purchase on. I feel that she could of been more approachable and less blunt, as when you visit shops like topshop and urban outfitters they always seem to be helpful and polite in any circumstance.

    I have bought a t-shirt for my wife from your Phoenix Marketcity store in Mumbai, India. Just after first wash it got shrinked, during that time we were on our leisure trip to Bali & Singapore. My wife got very irate as it was one of her best shirt & being a regular customer thought it could get replaced as there was a manufacturing defect. When we came back to India, we went to return the same but out of our surprise the store manager (Sameer Ghanchi) came back to us stating it can’t be replaced (that too post taking a week’s time). The answer given by him was very rude, “We can’t change this as it can happen to 99 out of 100 cloth & not our responsibility”. We told him to provide a written reason for decline of our replacement request for which he said “No such written reason can be provided from our side, you need to reach out to customer care”.
    Now my question here to the Senior Management of Zara is “Whether the response is correct??”, If I have hiven a written request to store why he can’t provide me a written revert for the reason of declining my request, where clearly you guys are wrong, as you have given me a defective piece. It really the people who make a difference in service industry like you guys in, your senior team (Sameer Ghanchi & Cordelia Fonseca) member so called store manager doesn’t know how to speak to a customer. This was worst of my service experience ever.

    Just for your knowledge I want to give you one more example of wonderful service provided by shop next door to you (Mango). When I bought the above t-shirt from your store, I have taken a dress from Mango & there was some defect in their dress also. When I visited them last along with your store, the first thing the said is “apologies for any inconvenience” as they acknowledged their mistake (but the same was not done at your store). They also given us option to take anything else if we want as a replacement but as we were looking for the same dress. It was not available with them, but they got the same traced from their Chennai store & provided us the same within a week (the same time which your staff taken to decline the replacement).

    I hope you this complaint of mine will be taken seriously & I will get a revert soon.

    I would like to know what kind of company are you. I have call approximately ten times to the online customer service idiots and trust me that me trying to be nice and not one time have a supervisor contact me back. I had three issues and only one result the issue the only reason that was resolve is because I call to talk to a supervisor regarding a return and they fail to return all items, at that time I had told her regarding and issue that I had over two weeks ago and still no response she implied that a person had been assign to it and they would have to call me back, meanwhile I call the New York Headquarters to talk to a Giselle because I email the zara in Spain and had she call me back at that time I save her number and call her over a week ago they said she would call me back within 2 min. I receive a email saying someone had tried to call me and there was no answer and that was a lie if that was true why didn’t they leave a message, once I recieve the email I call zara back and they said they only had my email that’s why they didn’t call me back that’s a lie your company do nothing but tell lies. I call the headquarters in New York and ask to talk to Giselle she hung up on me and I dial back and the operator name Fatima answer I ask to talk to her supervisor or a supervisor in the building and she said their were none. The third complaint I have I order atleast 6-8 orders in the month of June and July and I a missing one order and I am piss you are and international company and your employees act like a small business owner who don’t know what you are doing. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars of outline line purchases, and personally shop inside your stores in Florida, Newyork including overseas. Is this the way you treat your customers this is the second time I have had issues with your company. I shop online with other retailers and they treat me with dignity and respect especially if I have and issue which is very rare.     I would like to complain about the service I was given at a Zara store, purchased a shirt for my sons special birthday to find when I got home there was a mark on it, phone the store to say they did not have the size, go to the high street branch where they have the size, took it back after my work to be told it should not replace it as it should go back to the same store that it was purchased, this is good customer service and not very convienent to me, the manager was not very helpful, l would like to here about you have to say in this matter . Went into zara in birmingham solihull touchwood today and there was the moodiest looking woman ive ever seen in my life no customer service skills what so ever walked past me with a face of thunder i said excuse me do you work here she said yes why i asked if they have a tshirt i had in hand in stock in another size she looked at me like i was stupid and like i shouldnt be asking her (its her job)!? I then found the tshirt by myself as she stormed off. She was standing by the changing rooms and everytime i seen her she would give me a dirty look with the moodiest face ive ever seen you would think she wanted to punch everyone in the store! Arent they meant to look appealing and friendly not like they want to kill you?? I then went to the till, waited in the que for 15 minutes. I then got to the front of the que and the boy on the till said to me very abruptly, ‘theres a till in the kids section have you not been to that?? Go to that one’After ive waited 15 mins? I went to that one and she said they are not serving on that till today. I went back to my original till and the boy was huffing that he had to serve me. Most rude people ive ever seen in a shop! Disgusting attitudes

    I saw at home that one button’s stitching was bad so the day after I went to the store and asked them to replace me the shirt but they said they will fix it and it will take about 2-3 days.
    Today after about 2 weeks I went again to the store and asked for a new shirt or the money back but the answer was no.
    The customer service is very bad and I asked you to fix this issue.

    I visited Zara in uk bullring Birmingham store today this afternoon at around 2 pm it was a great selection and I enjoy shopping in Zara in Spain and uk but today I had a terrible experience after paying for my goods I went out and the security man called me back in as the beeper went off
    He asked for my bags but not my handbag or other shopping bags he was some time then kept trying the goods and nothing happened then it beeped oddly at different intervals but nothing could be identified as the problem here was no security tag left in items it was all odd He then said he was going yo look at security cameras why I looked for the receipt ,I had just purchased the hoods and witnessed the sales assistant put a receipt in the bag in fact both bags ,I had walked via the jumpers down stairs to the door yo exit store and my receipt was nowhere and not only that my Zara bag with hold shoes in had gone missing after having both bags at the fair exit
    I was feeling really frustrated and very sad and I had yo go upstairs to search now fir a list bag with hold shoes in that was found in security mans office by the door
    He told me that he’d looked at cameras and I had paid but would not be able to get money back as receipt had miraculously vanished this was five minutes ago. I was now thinking when he took my bags and pulled stuff out the receipt had blown outside …I would like to et immense to avoid this awful exoerience that receipts are stapled to the bag in future
    Also to be told I Vicks not exchange if wrong was awful
    I had literally just purchased 75 pounds items and gold shows 19’99
    Now after walking out if the shire my receipt had disappeared in thin air according yo security man and I can’t exchange items as if wring Xmas gifts as the receipt had gone

    I was made to feel as if I had dementia

    I suggest you monitor this store security practises as surely the first thing is to get receipt my bags were taken I had paid and I should have had hoods taken bag annulled and re purchased gif a receipt
    I am astute the receipt couldn’t have fallen out in the time I walked down the steps with two bags I ended up after being recalled back in by security man with one bag no receipt
    I am disappointed as was made to feel I was in the wrong
    Yiu need yo monitor security at exit and see if receipts are taken out

    It was worst exoerience and I am not letting this go

    I am a regular customer of zaara inform you the way I was treated by your store manager working in chandigarh, elante mall. Two days before I got two articles from your store allocated in elante. One was a denim jean and other was a cardigan. The next day when wore it I could see the unwanted articles coming out of it. Considering the reputation of your company I ignored thinking that it to be illusive. But to my dismay when I went to my office wearing it each of my colleague could detect that and then when I rubbed your article with my finger I could see that some unwanted articles were coming out of that denim.
    The next day I went to your store. I tried to explain about this to your store manager. But his reluctant and stubborn attitude astonished me. He was not ready to listen to my greivance. I could have easily got it exchanged by not even informing the manager about this but my astonishment level was such that I wanted to clear the things and then get it exchanged . Instead of solving my problem with some basic manners and etiquettes he was literally getting aggressive. I expected some kind of hospitality and I wanted him to check the quality because if I am again visiting the place it means that there is something wrong. I am not all happy with the services provided by your brand. I know if I don’t buy the product from your brand again it would hardly affect your brand but I thought that your company valued each customer. I don’t expect anything from your brand now but I just wanted to be vocal about it as I am not a dormant consumer . I am well acquainted with my rights and I actually feel like suing your company. Just because your brand has built up that reputation doesnt mean that it cannot make fault. There is something wrong with the fabric and it is like this and I will get it checked for sure.

    This is a warning for anyone considering buying from Zara website – DON’T. The customer service is appalling. If you are given a guaranteed pre Christmas delivery date (which is why I purchased from Zara in the first place) you would expect a multi national company to honour the delivery date they provided – THEY DON’T. You would also expect them to try and help you resolve why a parcel has been with their courier (Hermes) for 7 days without being delivered – THEY DON’T. All they offer is to email the courier, and tell you to wait 24 hours for an answer and then don’t bother contacting you again. I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP AT ZARA AGAIN – TO ALL ONLINE SHOPPERS – TAKE THIS AS A WARNING OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AND STAY WELL CLEAR OF PARTING WITH YOUR MONEY TO A SHAMBLES OF AN ONLINE RETAILER. SHAME ON YOU ZARA.

    Rude unhelpful supervisor, lack of staff and has the longest queues at the tills than any other high street store, with usually only 1 or 2 open on the ground floor no tills open on second floor and the 3rd floor 1 till open if you are lucky. Terrible customer service. This is normal for Zara Canterbury, not just when sales or at busy times it is always the same not enough staff on the tills.

    I visited a Zara store today at Glasgow fort. I waited for 20 minutes in a que where only one person was behind the till. In this time my 1 year old daughter was getting extremely flustered and started to cry. there was atleast another 6 staff members around the store but none came to assist the growing que. there were two store members a few feet from the checkout discussing what they got up to at the weekend and how badtheir hangovers were! The lady who was serving had no personality about her, she didn’t smile nor did she really communicate with any customers she was serving. I overheard a woman complaining about the que and length of time to get served and she just smiled back at her! Where is your customer service! This is not the first time this has happened and I will not be returning again!

    You have a fragrance called dancing vanilla which seems to no longer be available in london stores. I recently visited cardiff on a weekend away and was able to track it down by chance. However as I live in london I will not be able to go to Cardiff again, is there a way to get dancing vanilla in east london area? In particular Oxford Circus or to have it delivered from Cardiff stores to central london stores in a store inter change please? As this fragrance is beautiful and your stores no longer seem to stock it and your stores have moved on to red vanilla or vanilla perfume which just doesn’t give the same lovely scent

    I’m really unhappy with customer service! Actually there is no customer service!! I ordered some items online and I haven’t received them. I looked on tracking number online and there was information , attempted delivery 3 times. So I called to customer service , lady said will rearrange delivery. But no one delivered parcel to me . Parcel came back to retailer. I called again to customer service and I spoke with really rude lady! I said to her I left my contact number on the form when I was ordering items . And she said to me she is not aware of that. This is big joke. I have no idea what kind of customer service they think give to people.

    I had the worst customer experience ever today in one of your Oxford Street branches. ( First time in London for 16 years! Do you think I will hurry back-NO) There was a long queue, one till open, the manager walked past gabbling away in Spanish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! had a conversation (IN SPANISH) with colleague then walked past the queue again . Next thing she had her coat on and left the shop!!!!!!! I did eventually get served so I have a till receipt with a time line on when she left, I suspect not for lunch!!! Another customer and I asked if there was any other members of staff to serve the answer was “NO” there are no more till trained staff!! Really??? I then asked if there was a manager present ” NO” there is not! well is there some one in charge? she replied”I will find out” Surprise surprise- no eye contact, no apology, nothing!!!!!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! I was then told some one would come along they have found “someone” in charge!!!!! A young man came to tell me that the manager has left ( I already knew this) and no one else was till trained I can complain to head office if I wish. He gave me the mangers name “Maria” the time on my till receipt is 10.30 am the store 242-248 Oxford Street. I have written on your Facebook page and had an “automated” reply I have requested the CEO or MD address or e-mail so I can put in an “official ” complaint. You will probably do the same to this message. I would like a reply within 24hours……………………………………….

    All I want is an email address to complain to!! You’d think it was a simple request!!

    My little boy received some clothes for Christmas which were too small (Zara’s clothes are notorious for coming up small. My 5 year old is of average size, if a little small and is in a coat aged 8!!) Naturally, we don’t have a receipt, but the clothes were in an unworn state with tags still attached. We live an hour away from our nearest Zara, hence it taking us so long to return these two items.

    The manager then proceeds to tell me (repeatedly) that it’s their policy not to return or exchange ANYTHING without a receipt. He was unable to confirm WHY this policy is in place (all I wanted was to exchange!). Zara wouldnt be out of pocket for simply exchanging two items of clothing. Not ONCE have I ever encountered such a pointless policy. I’ve worked in retail and this is out of the ordinary and needless!!

    So unsatisfied and will certainly discontinue shopping at Zara out of principle.

    I recently bought a toy for a new born baby in your La Zenia shop in Spain. It had a tag on it saying ‘conforms with safety requirements’ When I checked the other tags, one said ‘30% plastic pellets’ !!! How on earth is it safe to have PLASTIC PELLETS in a new born baby’s toy ??!! I’m so glad I checked. Obviously I’m going to return it. You need to re-think your definition of ‘safe’.

    Been trying to get through about an complaint ,I got a royal blue top from the stirling store for my birthday in January first time I had it on was last Saturday, I wore a cream fur jacket I got for Christmas, the blue top has dyed all the inside of the jacket and I’ve wore black tops with this jacket and never had this , I’ve been in the stirling shop and was told they can’t phone or email the complaints department thought this very strange, my jacket can only be dryed cleaned and am not sure this would take off the dye on it ,got this jacket from my daughter for my Christmas and I very hurt ,I do want to keep the top though , hope this gets sorted out I can’t wear the jacket iam not happy I await your reply.     I have shopped at Zara for many years and have never being impressed with the customer service however, recently it has become worse. I mainly shop at the Metro Centre at Gateshead kids department. It is always a struggle to find someone to assist and when someone does appear I always feel like I am merely a bother to them rather than the valued customer that I am…or used to be after recent experiences. I shop in Zara because I like the style have decided to look elsewhere as i can’t tolerate the rudeness in store. I was in last week and made several purchases and then went to New Look kids department, it was the complete contrast in customer service that has compelled me to write and air my frustration.
    Maybe it is part of the Zara image to be sullen and aloof but I really think that customer to busy mothers would benefit you more than staff who don’t even look up when they serve you, will certainly not go out of their way to assist and thats just if you can find any staff.

    Dear Zara,

    I hope this message finds you well.

    I just wanted to drop you a message expressing my disappointment when I visited your store on Oxford Street, London, on Wednesday. We were shopping for a dress for my girlfriend and when we went over to the fitting rooms I was rather rudely told no men allowed. As there were no signs and it had been ok in every other shop I presumed it would be ok, but was wrong. My girlfriend then had to come all the way out to show me and get my opinion. I think this is rubbish. She is shy so it was not the best. The booths have curtains so privacy is still maintained and they are big enough to have two people in.

    When you add this to the fact that women are allowed into the men’s changing room, is this not a bit sexist?

    Please could you advise me why this is the case? I would also like to advise you putting some signs up to explain this, and to also look at how your staff tell people this as the way I was told was extremely rude.

    Just before Christmas I purchased 2 dresses in Gatwick Airport. When I went to change them for another size the shop was closed. I have sent the items back on 17th February and the tracking number is RL 653553807 IE. I have received no communication whatsoever. My daughter has come through the airport on many occasions since and the shop is shut down or so she was told. The items were valued around €120 from memory as I sent on the receipt with the items and did not keep a copy for myself. As these were Christmas gifts for my daughter you can image how distressed this whole situation is. Please sort this out with a refund or a credit note that my daughter can use as she is living in London. Hoping to hear from you very soon.

    A few days ago I went to your store in Nottingham to purchase a gift card to the value of £10 only to be told the minimum was £20 not only do I think this policy is ridiculous it made me feel humiliated in front of other customers. I went to another high street store and had no difficulty in purchasing a gift card for £10.Whilst £10 is not a lot of money this gift card was just a gesture to someone towards purchasing an item from your store.I am not happy.

    Kindly note that I have been purchased a baby shoes from one of your branch in UK and when I returned to my country Saudi Arabia I recognized that the size is small and I went to one of Zara branch in Al Faisaliah mall, Riyadh. One of the Zara staff was deal with me impolitely and shouting on front of the customers by saying go out of the shop as there’s no relationship between Zara Saudi Arabia and any Zara over the world!!!

    By the way, the same shoes and the target size is available in the shop! He informed me if you would like to rise a complain rise it and I don’t care about that !!!

    On Saturday, 24/06/2017, I went shopping at the Zara store in Durban. I saw a peep toe ankle boot and I asked one of the staff, whose name is Bongani, if I’m not mistaken. I asked him to assist me to look for the second pair of the shoe because I wanted to purchase it. He told me that he can’t assist me because that’s time wasting. I even asked another employee and he also told me he couldn’t assist me. I then further asked if I could pay for the shoes then later fetch it when they have time to look for it as it was checked and was on stock.
    I was just simply told that, they cannot help me. I would like to know if wanting to purchase from your store is time wasting so that I can share it with other shoppers on Social media not waste your employees time by shopping in your stores.

    I was thinking of writing to your Chief executive, but I Thought I raise my complaint with you first. I have shopped with your company for many years, and never had a cause to complaint, but my experience of shopping in your westfield branch in Shepherds Bush was terrible. I went to the branch at 11.10 am to return a jacket I had bought for my son. on my arrival I asked a security officer where I could return my son’s jacket, he said any cashiers desk. so i went and queued up. after almost 15 minutes when it was my turn I was told I had to join another queue. so I went and joined another queue for further 12 minutes. why you don’t train your staff to guide customers to right department? why you don’t have proper signages, which would help people like me not wasting almost 30 minutes to return a product? also i found members of your staff lack adequate knowledge of English language to deal with your customers. I have shopped in your stores for almost 20 years, as a valued customer I will expect a goodwill gesture from you to make up for my dissapointment.     I had the pleasure of busting one of your stores in Puerto del Carmen Lanzarote 2 weeks ago,What a pleasure to see such a tidy well laied shop clean staff brilliant choice of clothes made you feel welcome spend several hundred euros there.
    Went to your telford branch in Shropshire this was an absolute disgrace it felt like entering a second hand shop clothes every where no staff to be seen and choice well none sorry to say this but never again to your telford branch hope other branches round UK are as well presented as Puerto del Carmen

    I’m writing to complain about a member of staff you have working in the Croydon branch.

    I have been shopping with Zara for about 10 years and always been very happy with the products and service

    However there is a member of staff who has been discurtious, un helpful, in professional and very stroppy. The man is white, mid thirties, proportionate build, short hair, possibly receding and a beard. He has a bit of an accent

    On occasion one I asked him a question, he was very short with me. It was the mid season sale, I thought to myself don’t worry about it, he is probably busy.

    I went in the shop yesterday, I was trying to find out the cut of a pair of trousers. I asked him. The bloke rolled his eyes and said in a sarcastic tone “it’s written on the label” I had already checked the label before asking. I found this rude. But I thought I’ll ignore it again. There was no information on the label. It was although he was suggesting i was foolish for not checking

    My wife then joined me and we were looking for some jeans on the desk. I couldn’t find my sizes so I was looking towards the bottom of the pile. The man was standing to my left. As I picked the jeans up he raised his voice to me and said” THOES ARE 32″ this time I had picked them up, the man made a noise of displeasure (erggh). BY this time I’d had enough of his attitude, I said ” am I doing something to annoy you, I said I’m sorry that I messed up the jeans, I’m sorry you don’t like folding clothes and seem to not like your job. But I’m not here for you to speak to me like that. The man saw I was irritated by his behaviour. He said again sarcastically. I was going to help you. I replied I don’t want any help from you, leave me alone. He changed his tact and became overly helpful, by this time I told him to leave me alone. I said to my wife, im not in here to let people speak to me however they want, the guy turned around and raised his voice and said” what did you say” i then repeted that i wasnt going to spoken to in that way, the guy then started acting like he had done nothing wrong. I then walked off and said your only mugging yourself off behaving like that. I then left having not bought anything as I felt I didn’t want to give my money to your company.

    I wouldn’t want anything to happen to this man where he gets in trouble, however as a manger myself I think he should be made aware that this type of behaviour isn’t acceptable, I understand he may be busy with the sale, however being, sarcastic, rude and unprofessional isn’t the way to deal with it. He behaves as if you are a burden for asking him the simplest of questions.

    I was very upset with this experience, I will continue to shop with you because I like the clothes. However there is a member of staff who is making me feel I should go elsewhere.

    I ordered a few i teams of clothing of you and had them delivered but the delivery firm left them out side me house and left a note threw my door and by the time I had got home the parcel was gone where do I stand now because I am very in happy that I now have not received my goods which I know isn’t your fault it’s Hermes but iv emailed them and had me reply and am really in happy about it

    I retired 8 years ago from full time employment as the MD of a UK based import/export Company (1972-2009) that handled Asian, Indian Chinese and Jamaican foodstuffs.     The small device used is unobtrusive, user friendly and low cost, but very effective, it also gives a very good “Due Diligence” argument in case of any Health and safety issues arise.

    Dear Team Zara,
    There is nothing much to greet about the day!

    I been a long time loyal customer of Zara for years and I am really very upset with one of my recent purchase which was bought for the purpose of gifting. It is about my recently purchased Zara sports shoes, men which was bought from Pacific mall, Subhash nagar, New Delhi, India for 2,000INR. Considering the brand name and assuming the quality that automatically comes when you buy from a brand, I gifted it but it all proved out to be nothing but a myth when all the leather and soul started coming out in just 3 days of use. This is not just disappointing but became a reason of embarrassment of the kind of gift being given to someone. (I am attaching pictures of the defective product along with the invoice)

    I am definitely not happy about it and would like you to handle this complaint swiftly. I am appalled with the quality and it has made me wonder how you could allow such a product to hit shelves at all.

    I would hope that this is simply a one-time thing, as I do not want to believe that this company has gone downhill so quickly. All that I am asking in this case is to receive my money back else a replacement for the product, as I do not believe that this product proved out to be what it actually promised to be.

    I am really not trying to be difficult, but it seems as though too many companies are now offering substandard products and expecting to get away with this. I, however, will not stand for spending my hard-earned money on an item, only to have it not only be defective, but became just a piece to be trashed in just few days of its use.

    While I wish to stay loyal to the products the brand offer, as I have done throughout the years, you need to understand that I expect a certain quality in return for my money and you are no longer providing this for me.
    A quick and prompt action from your side will be greatly appreciated!

    I placed an order on Zara.com on July 12, 2017. On Monday, July 17, 2017 I received an email from Zara.com that my package was delivered on Sunday, July 16, 2017 which I found kind of odd, because normally you guys would email me the day the package was delivered, nevertheless I contacted the shipping company LaserShip on Monday, July 17, 2017 which they informed me that the package will be delivered on Monday by 9pm and it wasn’t delivered on Sunday. Now it’s Tuesday, July 18 still no package delivery on July 17. LaserShip informed me that the package was lost or misplaced and they’re going to investigate the package and contact me within 24 hours. Now it’s Wednesday I called them again and they still haven’t located the package they got in contact with the driver and informed me that they will have the driver contact me because the driver lives in my neighborhood and she’ll go back around to the neighborhood to make sure she delivered it to the correct address. Thursday, July 20 I receive an email stating the package was delivered on July 19. I did receive a delivery on July 19, but that was for another order that I placed to zara.com and that was delivered by FedEx. I have emails from LaserShip where they stated that they were unable to locate the package, but all of a sudden the package was delivered 4 days later than the date it stated it was delivered.

    I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a Customer Service Department in my life. I am thoroughly disappointed and disenchanted. I placed an order. The wrong item was sent. Customer Service has advised me that it is my responsibility to be available from 9 until 7 tomorrow so that UPS can pick up the item, and then and only then, will my correct item, which was TWICE as much, be sent. Is this customer service? NO.

    I have been in retail for over 4 years in various managerial positions within south African in the retail management sector . I forwarded my cv to Melanie in hope to get feedback only to find out she says she has nothing open at the moment
    funny enough there is a vacancy open in menlyn south Africa. it’s strange not to be given a chance to go for the interview yet position is advertised . I worked in management for H&M south Africa, I am part of the team that trained in Sweden about the business. Zara is a department store just as hm yet I am told there is no vacancy at the moment . I work as a merchandise manager for H&M south Africa and was looking forward to face the challange. it’s strange how the recrutment responsible don’t look into the curriculum vetae and rate from the experiance yet claim she gave me a call . my feedback is its important to understand what skills the business needs onboard from a commercial point of view . I will continue applying online hopefully I will join the number 1 fashion destination . but it’s strange how talent is sported, age might deserve you at times focus on talent and business needs.

    Zara is an international store however in South Africa, what I have noticed as a regular customer is that there is a lot of false advertising if you actually download the app you would find many products advertised o sale however when you actually go to the store you always told there are no sizes or stock. It is either the staff keep it for themselves or there is false advertising on the website.

    I have been to the store many times even today an there is hardly any stock yet when I checked the phone application and website there is such a variety that suppose to be on sale. If the shore cannot keep to its high standards they should have not opened in South Africa because it is quite a disgrace to the popular we’ll know brand abroad.

    I purchased leggings for $70 and the first day I wore them they wrapped up the bum in public and an eyelet fell off. The manager in the store was helpful but she could only offer me $20 because they went on sale that week. So I have suffered embarrassment in public and been offered $50 less than I paid, this seems poor as I have worked in customer service for many years. Please respond to me as soon as you are able to.

    My name is Emma Hamilton and I am 20 years old. I have been dancing since I was a little girl and this year I was lucky enough to be awarded a place at a top London College called ‘Performers’. My dream is to make this into a career but unfortunately myself and my family do not have the funds to pay the course fees on our own. We come from an ordinary family in Glasgow and paying so much for tuition fees is just out of our reach. This training would be a massive opportunity and a step closer to me receiving my degree in dance. Everything is in place for me to go but unfortunately it costs £7750 per year. I have worked since I was 16 in order to try and save for this moment and having to give it all up is heartbreaking. It is also taking a toll on my family as they are devastated that they are not in a position to help me financially. I am trying everything and I am not willing to let my dream go.     Re Zara store Miramar Mall, Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, spain. I have been a customer of this store for several years. I used to enjoy shopping there and did so on a regular basis. Now I do not go inside it. It is a tip. It looks like a charity shop. The racks are untidy and not colour co.ordinated. There is no order to the store at all. I take one look at the under chaos and walk out. Everything looks used, abused and generally unappealing. I would not try anything on. Sylvia Harrington

    I bought stuff at Zara Menlyn Mall worth R5000 and at least two items are not fitting me. I went back to the store to get lower sizes and I couldn’t seem to change the my items.
